Affiliate Blogging Part 4 – Finding Profitable Products

The first thing you need to do is create a Clickbank account. To do that, just go to Clickbank.com. Click on ‘Affiliates’. You’ll notice that there is a ‘Sign up’ link here. Click on ‘Sign Up’ and fill out the form.

Clickbank accepts most countries so if you are unsure, just feel free to go through to find your country. Clickbank sends cheques but they also do direct deposit depending where you are located. So pick your country, pick your payee name, put all your information (first name, last name, e-mail). The only thing you need to pay close attention to is your account nickname. What I would suggest you to do is pick an account nickname that focuses on your niche. If you are only going to focus on a specific area, then you can even create a nickname around that niche. Or if you are going to switch niches, then I would recommend you to pick something more general.

Let’s say you are going to focus more on videos. You can put a nickname that deals with videos, video products, software products, digital products or info products.

Let’s talk about the Clickbank marketplace. Clickbank marketplace is a place you go to when you find products to promote. But before we actually go there, I want you to ask yourself this question. When you are looking at a product, you have to ask yourself, “Are you passionate about this product?” Does it actually make you want to buy it? Does it relate to your blog? Because you don’t want to promote a product if it doesn’t relate to your blog.

I hope this information was helpful to you. In a future post we will cover CPAs and how they can make you money. If you would like to learn every aspect of this affiliate blogging money making tactic, check out my video course, Affiliate Blogging Secrets.
